2) Is Triton an approved school?
Yes. Triton Institute was granted an institutional approval from the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, pursuant to California Education Code. The Bureau’s approval means that the institution and its operation comply with the standards established laws and regulations for occupation instruction by postsecondary educational instruction. Currently, our approved school code by BPPE is numbered in 1942501 starting from April 29, 2002. (

3) What is Medical Assistant Program (MA)
Our MA program enables our students to gain the qualification and eligibility to work as an entry-level clinical and administrative staff in medical groups, hospitals, clinics, medical centers, and other related specialized care centers. Throughout the MA program, the students will receive instruction in the classroom, lab, and externship sites.
The student will be provided with basic knowledge of how to receive patients to see the doctor, take vital signs, and record medical histories. The program will also train the student by hands-on practices of giving immunization, taking EKGs, blood drew, and experiments in testing labs. In addition, students will be trained effective and efficient administrative skills in medical fields, such as appointment scheduling for patience, supplies ordering, filling out insurance forms, conduct correspondence, and maintain patient charts.

Our MA Program contains 720 hours, including 160 hours externship. 36 weeks, 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
4) What is Medical Biller/Coder Program (MBC)
The MBC program trains students in acquiring job skills in entry-level jobs such as Billing or Insurance Processing Clerks in physician’s offices, hospital billing, outpatient departments, and insurance companies.

Our MBC Program contains 760 hours, including 160 hours externship. 38 weeks, 20 hours per week, Monday to Thursday
