Library Mission: Triton’s library is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the learning, teaching, as well as broader educational goals of the Institute. The Triton’s library develops and maintains a varied collection of resources, and it promotes information literacy standards. The library is committed to providing efficient services to students, faculty, and staff. Triton assigns specific librarian to facilitate the library to serve our vocational training education programs, such as Medical Assistant, Medical Biller/Coder and others, in research, reading, and possible assistance.

Library Policies: A student needs to be a registered student to use our school library. A valid student ID card or a valid ID verification is required. Students are required to check every book with the librarian. The checkout procedure is listed below:
• Checkout Period: 4 weeks for regular items (non-reference book or non-textbook); 1 week for reference books(as listed in the course syllabus); 1 day for textbooks, project/thesis (same-day return required); 1 week for video/audio, annual reports, periodicals
• Penalty for late return of any item: for regular items, $0.25/per day for each item; for reference/textbooks, $3/per day for each book;
• Renewal policy: each checked out item can only be renewed once for a new checkout period.
• Checkout limit: the maximum number of items you can have checked out at any time is 5.

Friday: Closed
Saturday: 9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

On-Campus Collections
Overview: Triton’s library has books, print journal titles, electronic journal titles, and multimedia items covering areas including Medical Assistant, Medical Biller/Coder, and etc. We also provide e-library services for students who prefer researching course related materials on their own computers. All Triton students’ access privileges include: obtaining a library card; checking out books, CD’s, DVD’s and other materials; utilizing the new e-library, and full wireless access with their laptops within the library. For students without a wireless card, Triton also has DSL direct connection services allowing students to store legally downloadable research data obtained from the library. In addition, Triton students have complete support from universities librarians. For multi-lingual students, we provide many materials in different languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, etc. In all, Triton processes more than thousands various books for use of students.

Computer Laboratory
Computer facilities include Medical Assistant Lab and Medical Testing Lab, software practice lab, with full wireless Internet connections. The labs are open from 10:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday, and limited hours on Saturday and Sunday. Please check with the Registrar for current access hours during each particular term. The use of computers at Triton is an integral element of all programs. All students are highly encouraged to purchase and bring in their own laptop computers.

Computer Networks
There are a variety of high-performance computers on campus to support teaching and learning, including high-capacity servers, advanced workstations, and modern PCs. Wireless computers as well as high-speed Internet access are provided to the students on campus. The campus networks have a node on the Internet, allowing faculty and student access to electronic mail, file transfer, and the World Wide Web.
